Master Your Workflow with Global Tasks!
Our new global tasks feature is here, and I truly believe it’s a game-changer for streamlining your firm’s daily operations! I know how chaotic things can get, and anything that helps lighten your load and bring clarity to your day is a massive win. Global tasks is designed to do just that.
All Your Tasks, One Place
Imagine seeing every task for every case, all in one central dashboard. That’s what global tasks delivers! No more jumping between cases to check on individual items—just a clear, complete picture of everything that needs to get done.
If you haven’t already, I highly recommend diving into our task templates (you can click here to learn more!). These templates are your secret weapon for quickly applying a pre-set list of tasks to any case. I always suggest creating a general task template with your core, recurring tasks (like removals, authorizations, filing death certificates, etc.).
Then, build smaller, more specific templates for unique scenarios. This is where stacking comes in! You can layer these smaller templates on top of your general one. For example, if a family plans a viewing, simply stack your “viewing” template onto your “general” template. Or, for a case involving shipping remains, add your “ship-out” template to the “viewing” and “general” templates. This ensures you quickly add all necessary tasks without manual effort. Of course, you can always add one-off tasks for those truly unique situations!
Optimize Your Day with Custom Views
Once your templates are set, your global tasks page becomes incredibly powerful. Want to see exactly what’s due today, or what’s on your plate for the week? Just set a filter! You can even save those filters as custom views that you check daily. Think: “tasks assigned to my removal team,” “all overdue tasks,” or “tasks due this week.” It’s about creating the perfect view for your workflow.
